OUR MISSION

We are a group of educators who understand that learning and teaching have changed with our world. Our children and their families face new challenges as well as opportunities for revolutionary growth.

Our mission is to provide exceptional academics combined with innovative thinking to cultivate adaptable leaders in a dynamic environment.

Each student possesses natural talents and personal interests. We believe that when we teach in ways that integrate these individual characteristics, the level of learning and application of knowledge is significantly increased. Our goal is to help each student celebrate their achievement of success.

We are passionate about learning and helping others learn as one and as a society.

We learn from each other, as we grow together.

Our Mission

It is essential that the roots of learning are strong to provide a student with the framework to grow in all areas. Those roots include various academic subject skills, organizational techniques, and ethics of work and society. Solid roots help students find motivation and confidence to become engaged in their learning.

I have been the Head of School in several locations and believe in the importance of knowing that all people have talents to share.  Having school experience in the USA and UK has allowed me to expand strategies for learning while developing individual student empowerment.

I believe learning is about academics and building strategies for life. When I teach, I focus on helping people understand how to organize, collaborate, research, and apply it to their own interests to continue to learn. I want learning to be useful for each student.

Struggling students work best when they receive targeted, individualized instruction. I strive to offer teaching methods that connect with a student’s own learning style. My many years of experience have taught me numerous ways to foster growth in each student and facilitate a true love for learning.

As a teacher, I live for the 'ah-ha moments when the [Orton-Gillingham] multi-sensory approach helps students make new reading and spelling discoveries.

I believe confidence is a key ingredient to a child’s success. Once confidence is built and skills are taught, it is a joy to see students light up with excitement when they finally grasp a concept or skill they once thought so difficult. My years of experience have given me many strategies, techniques, and methods that help bring out the best in every child.

Academics is a lot like putting together a puzzle… continuing to try until you find pieces that fit. That is how I teach my students – finding the best methods that work for each one of them. I like to implement strategies that ignite a spark in a student – one they didn’t know existed. I live for those lightbulb moments because teaching isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am.

Discovery learning is my specialty. In my years of teaching, I especially enjoy math and science and find ways to  foster curiosity in students. We explore the “what if” questions in our world and beyond. Helping students become

innovators is my goal.
